In order for your kids to be connected to those bubbles, you have to have front row center otherwise it's hit and miss and disappointed kids. It's a nice show but more can be done for the price. My… Full review by rjkarma106

Amazing show, kids were absolutely captivated as were my wife and I. Bubbles everywhere really gets you to feel part of the show. Full review by Peter D
Regarding the side sections. I believe the tickets we are looking at are in 3rd row on the side, but center aisle (seats 2/4). Were you on that aisle? or the aisle next to wall? I am very interested in opinions, as this will be the first/only time we attend! :-) Also, can you tell me how long the show really is, and if there are activities to keep you in the theater after the show, or does everyone leave? Thanks so much!

If facing the stage, we sat on the right side. We were closer to the aisle than the wall and I would select similar seats if I had to do it again. The advantage was less competition for my son to try and grab bubbles. The sight line was still very good. If you can get the first row that separates the first and second sections on the aisle - that is the way to go. There isn't much before or after the show to keep you occupied outside of the chance to get a picture inside a giant bubble (this is real--not green screen) or souvenir shopping.
I’m going with friends and our kids. One of the kids is under 2 years old - do they need a ticket to sit on a lap? We are looking to buy the tickets on groupon and its a fixed rate for everyone.

Hi. Here’s what their website says about children 2 and younger: “Everyone must have a ticket. Lap seats for children 2 years and under are $20, available only at the box office.” Good luck.

You don't have to dress up to attend but if you're planning on going out for dinner after (like we did), you're right in the theatre district with some really great restaurants! Which of course, not all of them require a certain attire. Hope you enjoy the show!
What is there to do in the neighborhood after the show?

The theater is on 50th Street between 8th and 9th Ave. There is a very nice courtyard right next to it where you can sit before the show. If you go east from there, you will pass Radio City Msuic Hall on 6th, then Rockefeller Center is between 6th and 5th. There is plenty to do there. The concourse for shipping, the ice rink. LEGO store, NBC etc. Then you have the entire city to explore depending how far you want to go. North would take you to Central Park. South would take you to Timre Square, Empire State.
