Gunn also confirmed to EW that no one has yet been cast as Wonder Woman, indicating that previous WW actor Gal Gadot is well and truly out. That's not a huge surprise, given that Patty Jenkins, director of the first two Wonder Woman films, previously confirmed that she's not moving forward with Wonder Woman 3.
Gunn confirmed that the previously announced Wonder Woman- adjacent project, Paradise Lost, a prequel series set on the island of Thymascira, Wonder Woman's home, but set long before her, was still in development. Gunn called the series "slow moving" but assured that it is still moving forward.
Fans have been eager for updates on the other members of DC’s “Trinity,” Batman and Wonder Woman — and finally, Gunn is providing a long-awaited update on one of them. In 2023, Gunn and Safran announced that Batman would get his own introduction in The Brave and the Bold alongside Damian Wayne.
