Those who had planned to wear paper bags to UC basketball games may not do so according to Fifth Third Arena policy
CINCINNATI — The Miami RedHawks basketball team took a shot at the 8-8 Cincinnati Bearcats basketball team on Tuesday. Miami's team X account posted on the site that season-ticket holders for any of the college basketball teams in Southwest Ohio can upgrade to Miami tickets with just a $10 charge.
Moustapha Thiam transferred from UCF to Cincinnati in April and heard about it from Knights fans when he returned to Orlando with the Bearcats Sunday.
The Bearcats are shooting 32% from three-point range with UCF hitting 37%. Of note, UCF guard Themus Falks hits 48% of his long-range launches (10-of-21). This comes after shooting just 26% from the arc at Milwaukee last season.
Ross Candelino led the Bisons of Lipscomb with 20 points, but UC held their top scorer, 6-foot-11 Grant Asman to just nine points. Asman averaged 14.7. It was Lipscomb's second-lowest scoring game of the season. Back on Nov. 3, they started the season with just 61 points at Vanderbilt.
Oklahoma State snapped the UCF Knights' 11-game winning streak Tuesday. They will look to bounce back against Cincinnati and a former building block.
