The Bridget Jones 4 trailer has landed, starring Renée Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.

The first trailer for Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy has been released, confirming the death of Colin Firth ’s character Mark Darcy. The fourth film – co-written by Bridget Jones creator Helen Fielding, with contributions by Abi Morgan and Dan Mazer – is based on Fielding’s own 2013 novel of the same name.

Mad About the Boy also marks the return of Dame Emma Thompson as Dr Rawlings, as well as Jim Broadbent and Gemma Jones as Bridget's parents. But the film will also introduce new characters like Leo Woodall's Roxster and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who will play the role of the headteacher of Bridget's children.

Mr. Walker ( Chiwetel Ejiofor ), a teacher at her kids’ school, and a handsome stranger named Roxster ( Leo Woodall ), rush to her aid, prompting Bridget to conclude, “Oh, my God. I’ve climbed a magical man-tree.” Roxster proceeds to wrap his arms around Bridget — and briefly check out her butt — while helping her down.
