Flight DL56 was forced to make an emergency landing in Minneapolis two hours into its journey to Amsterdam, the airline says

Delta Air Lines says a flight from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam was hit by serious turbulence, injuring passengers and forcing the flight to divert to Minneapolis-St.

Twenty-five people were taken to hospital on Wednesday after a Delta Air Lines flight from Salt Lake City, Utah to Amsterdam was diverted to Minneapolis due to severe turbulence, the airline said in a statement.
