Eric Clapton paid tribute to fellow Derek and the Dominoes founder Bobby Whitlock following his death on August 10, 2025.

With the death of Whitlock, Clapton is the last surviving member of the classic Derek and the Dominos lineup. Radle died in 1980 at age 37, and Gordon died in 2023 at age 77.
