The Fourth of July will likely be a wet one for Central Florida as another day is forecast with a high chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Hurricane Center says a broad area of low pressure off the Southeastern coast has officially been designated Potential Tropical Cyclone Three, which could produce flooding rains along the Carolinas during the next few days.

Tropical Storm Chantal has gathered more strength and is expected to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms to Florida, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and the FOX 35 Storm Team.
