Tom Thibodeau and the New York Knicks ended up losing a hard-fought series in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Indiana Pacers last week. It was an incredibly entertaining series, but the Knicks simply did not have enough to pull out the win.

Even though the New York Knicks were eliminated in the Eastern Conference finals by the Indiana Pacers last Saturday, the team still had a lot to be proud of. The Knicks' playoff journey had all the highs and heartbreak New York basketball fans have come to expect.

The New York Knicks made the conference finals this year for the first time since 2000. Yes, they lost to the Indiana Pacers in six games, but it was still a terrific season for the Knicks. New York beat the Detroit Pistons and the defending champion Boston Celtics to make the conference finals.
