Cowboys, Micah Parsons and Dak Prescott

Through the early days of Dallas Cowboys training camp, team owner and CEO Jerry Jones is not making many fans with his handling of the ongoing negotiations of star defender Micah Parsons’s upcoming contract extension.
When the Dallas Cowboys took the field for their first practice of training camp Tuesday in Oxnard, California, All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons was with his teammates. That's notable because the 26-year-old still doesn't have a contract extension ahead of the final year of his rookie deal in 2025.
Prescott signed a four-year, $240 million extension with the Cowboys in September. The deal made him one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL, with an average annual value of $60 million. The contract also included an $80 million signing bonus.
Micah Parsons showed up to Cowboys camp, but his contract situation is still making waves, while Terry McLaurin is absent in D.C.
Micah Parsons still is not practicing Wednesday, the second consecutive day he is not participating with the Cowboys in Oxnard, California.
