New Zealand will head into their Champions Trophy semi-final against South Africa with confidence intact despite suffering their first defeat of the tournament against India, paceman Matt Henry said.

The Black Caps lost to India in their final Group A match on Sunday in Dubai but Tom Latham said it would have no bearing on the encounter for a place in the final.

After New Zealand confirmed their second spot on the points table following a defeat at the hands of India in the Group A clash, South Africa will now be compelled to take a return flight to Lahore for the game against the BlackCaps.
