In recent weeks, the potential UFC return of Francis Ngannou became a hot topic. Perhaps it was because of the lack of action in the heavyweight division as the promotion awaited word on Jon Jones’ next move.

The UFC lost out on a lucrative fight when former heavyweight champion Jon Jones retired without facing interim champion Tom Aspinall, but CEO Dana White doesn't sound very interested in bringing back another legendary heavyweight to fill the void.

With Jon Jones retiring and relinquishing his UFC heavyweight title, White was asked if he'd be willing to re-sign Ngannou. Prior to Jones calling it a career, Ngannou's team hinted that the former UFC heavyweight champion could be willing to come back to the octagon.
