Patrick Vereb, 70, is accused of stealing over $650,000 dollars from over 6,500 people across four counties in Pennsylvania.

A Pittsburgh funeral home director is facing charges after prosecutors said he threw out the bodies of thousands of pets and gave owners the ashes of other animals.  Seventy-year-old Patrick Vereb, the owner of Vereb Funeral Home and Eternity Pet Memorial,

Patrick Vereb was accused of deceiving more than 6,500 pet owners who paid for burials or cremations, discarding pets’ bodies and giving owners other animals’ ashes.
