Penn State men’s lacrosse used a special game-ending run to defeat Notre Dame, 14-12, before a record-setting crowd of 17,721 in Annapolis.

The Nittany Lions stage a huge second-half rally to eliminate the two-time defending NCAA champion Fighting Irish.

Penn State will face No. 1 overall seed Cornell in the semifinal next Saturday at noon on ESPN2. The two teams met in the regular season, with Penn State winning 13-12 in overtime. The Nittany Lions will make their third ever appearance in the NCAA Final Four, all under head coach Jeff Tambroni.
