A t least six people were killed and more than 50 others injured after a barrage of Russian drones and missiles struck Kyiv overnight, Ukrainian officials said. One of the dead includes a six-year-old boy, while three other fatalities were confirmed at the site of an apartment block which collapsed following a strike.

Russia unleashed a combined missile and drone attack on Kyiv, killing at least six people, including a child, and wounding dozens more, local officials said on Thursday.

The Ukrainian military said a Russian missile strike on a training facility in the north of the country killed at least three reservists and injured 18.
