Week 13 of SEC baseball brought two thrilling rivalry series and a handful of other surprises. The bubble situation is starting to come into focus in the conference with just one week left in the regular season.

If a team finishes in the top eight of the SEC, it gets a first-round bye at the SEC Tournament next week in Hoover. With its home series win over then-No. 6 Georgia, No. 18 Alabama has placed itself back among those eight at the start of this week, to go along with its No. 8 RPI spot.

Texas baseball is no longer the No. 1 team in the country. The Longhorns lost their second successive SEC series over the weekend, dropping two out of three games at home to Florida. As a result, they relinquished their grip on the top spot in the polls.
