According to a report from The Tennessean, Nashville will see Spirit Airlines dramatically expand its reach from the Music City, including a new route to Cleveland. Florida-based Spirit announced this week that the twice-weekly single route between the two cities will debut May 8.

Spirit Airlines is emerging from the shadow of bankruptcy and route cuts by adding dozens of new routes. Major airports including Nashville, Charlotte, Detroit, Dallas, and Baltimore/Washington are getting significant route additions.
