Tropical Storm Edouard is forecasted to make landfall over southeast Texas Tuesday, Sept. 1 night, after forming in the Gulf of Mexico Monday evening.

There’s a chance a tropical storm may form near Louisiana and Texas.

The storm was upgraded Monday night from a tropical depression and forecasters with the National Hurricane Center expect it will make landfall in Texas later on Tuesday.
