Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Russian President Vladimir Putin Thursday in Moscow as a contingent of world leaders come to Russia as it celebrates the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

The Chinese leader begins a long four-day visit to Russia this week to "further strengthen their close relationship," according to a Beijing spokesperson. The Chinese army's Honor Guard paraded through the streets of Moscow on Sunday night.
