CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A cold weather advisory was in place for multiple Western North Carolina counties on Thursday due expected frigid temperatures. A cold weather advisory was in effect for Ashe, Avery and Watauga counties in the mountains until 7 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 16.
The Panthers take on the Los Angeles Rams Saturday afternoon in Charlotte. Kick off is at 4:30 p.m. and it's going to be damp. Temperatures will be warm near 70, but off and on again rain showers will cause wet field conditions. Gusty southwest winds will blow 20-30 mph and may affect the kicking and passing game.
