Last year's Beanpot MVP Cole Hutson delivered the winning shootout goal with a shot that just trickled past Lawton Zacher. The game officially ends in a tie in the Hockey East standings, but the Terriers will have a chance to defend their crown against their crosstown foe, the Boston College Eagles.

The stars showed out in Penn State vs Michigan State, as the Spartans' Charlie Stramel outdid Gavin McKenna and Aiden Fink to get MSU an OT win.

Michigan State's hockey team won the Great Lakes Invitational for the second consecutive year. The Spartans defeated Ferris State and then Michigan Tech to secure the championship. This marks the first time in 25 years the Spartans have won the tournament in back-to-back seasons.

Spain beat Argentina 2-1 in the first semi-final to make their way into the final of the tournament. The final is set with Germany and Spain set to battle it out on December 10.

The USA fell 6-3 to Sweden for their 2026 world junior hockey championship loss. The American finish second in Group A.
