One man is dead, and one man has been arrested following an officer-involved shooting near 37th and Fairmount on March 8, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.

Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman said an officer shot and killed an armed suspect on Saturday. The officer involved has been placed on administrative duty. Norman said the 41-year-old suspect's weapon was recovered at the scene.
