Chicago Sky suffered their 11th loss of the season on Friday, falling 83-78 to the Golden State Valkyries in their first-ever meeting. Valkyries veteran Kayla Thornton led the way with a career-high 29 points, while Chicago managed to keep it close behind Angel Reese’s double-double.

Angel Reese had 17 points and 18 rebounds for the Chicago Sky on Friday. Reese has had 15-plus rebounds in three straight games.
