The Boston Red Sox traded Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants. However, they purportedly do not intend to be sellers at the trade deadline.

Rafael Devers told reporters Tuesday he'll play any position for the San Francisco Giants after the team acquired him in a blockbuster trade with the Boston Red Sox (h/t Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle).

"We were all excited. We just swept the Yankees. We love our team and instead of being excited, I'm devastated," a fan told WBZ. "It's wild. We have traded Mookie Betts and Devers in the last five years. Our two best players and we got, essentially, nothing in return for either of them."
