Former Columbia University student Mahmoud Khalil has returned to the U.S. Northeast after 104 days in custody for protesting against Israel and the war in Gaza.

Mahmoud Khalil, recently released from immigration custody, on Sunday described the conditions of his detention while decrying the "hypocrisy" of Columbia University, where he is a graduate student.
