Someone who bought a Mega Millions lottery ticket down in Virginia is now a multimillionaire, matching all six numbers in Friday night’s drawing worth $348 million. Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold somewhere in Virginia, and the jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing now reverts to $50 million.

A lottery player in Virginia won the estimated $348 million Mega Millions jackpot on June 27. Only one ticket matched all five white balls and the Mega Ball to win the jackpot, according to the Mega Millions website.
