When King Charles gets up in the morning, what tunes does he select to start his day? It’s a mix of genres across decades, according to a new Apple Music broadcast show and playlist the monarch has curated – from reggae legend Bob Marley to the more recently Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter RAYE.

It's not the first time a member of the royal family has collaborated with Apple. Prince William recorded the Apple Fitness+ podcast Time to Walk, taking listeners around Norfolk and giving a little insight into his family life. Call it the King’s Speech, with music. To celebrate Commonwealth Day on March 10, King Charles has put together a playlist, dubbed The King’s Music Room, for Apple Music. It features musicians from across the 56 countries of the Commonwealth.

It’s a playlist literally fit for a king. A new program of music features tracks by artists including Bob Marley, Grace Jones, Kylie Minogue and Raye – all chosen by Britain's King Charles III.
