The Turkish parliament approved on Monday a proposal to extend the mandate for the deployment of the Turkish Armed Forces in Libya for an additional two years, starting from January 2, 2026. The Turkish presidency had submitted a new memorandum to parliament requesting the extension of the mandate of Turkish forces operating in Libya for a further 24 months.
