With Apple's new iOS 26, it should be easier than ever. During its opening WWDC keynote on Monday, Apple detailed a host of new Live Translation features built right into iOS and powered by in-house models that run on iPhones.

Apple is launching Live Translation across Messages, FaceTime, and Phone calls, powered by Apple Intelligence. Users will be able to see a translation happen before their eyes as they type a text message,

During the WWDC 2025 conference, Apple announced that live translation is coming to iOS 26. iPads and select Apple Watches will also be getting this feature.
