Daniel Suarez led a quartet of NASCAR stars through the streets of Mexico City, after midnight, in search of a nightcap following a full day of showcasing his native country to his fellow competitors.

Over the past decade and a half, Mexico has absorbed a massive wave of repatriation. More than 4 million Mexican citizens have been deported from the U.S. since 2009. Even more of their family members, like Carmen and her children, willingly returned alongside them.

Mexico is embracing NASCAR ahead of its trip to Mexico City in June. But more importantly, the Cup Series stars can't wait to get there.
