The NWS Blacksburg VA issued an updated severe thunderstorm warning at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in effect until 8:15 p.m. for Alleghany County.

The NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC issued a severe thunderstorm warning at 5:23 p.m. on Saturday in effect until 6:15 p.m. for Iredell County.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of western Jefferson County, in addition to New Albany and Corydon in Southern Indiana, until 3:30 p.m. on June 28. Wind up to 60 miles per hour and quarter-sized hail were possible, according to the warning. Thunder and lightning were apparent in Louisville.
