Strong to severe storms will be possible across all of Alabama from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Damaging winds, heavy rain and tornadoes will all be possible with the strongest storms. Areas in yellow will have a Level 2 out of 5 risk for severe weather. Areas in dark green will have a Level 1 risk. Storm Prediction Center

The sky will gradually clear and we anticipate a mild day with highs in the upper 60s, with a good supply of sun and clouds. Temperatures will trend even warmer on Tuesday, with lows in the 40s and highs in the low-to-mid-70s.

Severe weather is not expected tomorrow night, but brief heavy rain and lightning are possible. There will be isolated showers on and off on Monday. Stronger storms are expected to arrive overnight into Tuesday morning. Large hail and damaging winds are anticipated with these storms, with the highest risk in our eastern half.
