American fast-casual chain Sweetgreen has launched Ripple Fries, claiming to be the first national brand to serve such fries. Ripple Fries are air-fried in avocado oil and made without seed oils from russet potatoes then seasoned with a mix of salt and herbs.

Two trendy chains have introduced buzzy additions to their menus, and I tried them. Birria ramen at Tacombi combines world-famous Sun Noodle with the chain's rich Mexican birria broth made with Black Angus brisket and a blend of chiles.

Sweetgreen is launching their Ripple Fries nationwide starting today. The restaurant chain, known for a range of flavorful salads and bowls, is adding these fries to their menu—which feature a wavy cut pattern and are made with just five ingredients.
