VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A Saturday night crash on Virginia Beach Boulevard is being investigated as a DUI, police said.

The Virginia Beach Police Department has been made aware of multiple events that lack appropriate permitting approval.

VBPD confirmed to 10 On Your Side there was a second person in the car. Police will not be releasing their information and that person is cooperating with investigations, they said.

The VBPD received a complaint of criminal conduct involving Fearon from his interaction with the victim on June 14. Fearon was on duty at the time of the alleged incident.

VBPD says property crime is down 4.3% compared to 2023, from 7,882 offenses to 7,541. Larcenies from motor vehicles are down 17%, and thefts of motor vehicles are down 27%, the department shows.
