The San Jose Sharks visit the Buffalo Sabres after the Sharks took down the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 in a shootout.

San Jose led 10-5 in shots in the period, four of which came on its two power plays. Celebrini led the way with seven shot attempts, including one that hit the post and another that deflected off the crossbar during the final minute.
With goalie Vitek Vanecek held out of the game for trade-related reasons, the Sharks got third period goals from William Eklund, Macklin Celebrini, Will Smith and Tyler Toffoli to help seal a 6-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center.

Buffalo trailed by just one heading into the third period but was outscored 4-1 in the final 20 minutes. Alexandar Georgiev secured the win in net with 20 saves.

Macklin Celebrini, Will Smith, Nico Sturm, Timothy Liljegren, and Tyler Toffoli scored for San Jose. Alexander Georgiev made 20 saves for his second win in as many days.
