The NBA star is pleading for Hooters not to go in wake of the news that the iconic restaurant chain may be heading for bankruptcy.

The disappointing season continued for the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night with a 124-116 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans at home. The Suns held a one-point lead at halftime, but a 37-point fourth quarter by the Pelicans was too much.

Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker posted on X Saturday night, pleading for Hooters to remain afloat amid reports the restaurant chain could file for bankruptcy soon.

The Suns missed their first seven attempts and shot 29.2% in the first quarter. Chicago jumped out to a 10-point lead on a buzzer-beating floater from Tre Jones. Phoenix was 16 of 21 from the field in the second quarter and led by two at the half.

Booker churned out a game-high 29 points on 10-of-19 shooting after a 4-of-14 effort in Thursday's loss to San Antonio to lead the Suns (27-29) while Beal scored 25 in his return to the starting lineup as he replaced Tyus Jones.
