The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a driver has died several days after being involved in a crash in Spartanburg County. According to troopers, the crash happened on Jan. 21 around 8:20 p.m. on Hayne Street near Nahant Street. Troopers said a car went off the left side of the road, hitting a tree and utility pole.

According to troopers, the driver of a Chrysler sedan was heading east on Hayne Street around 8:21 p.m. on Jan. 21. They drove off the left side of the road, hit a tree and then a utility pole.
