Liverpool produced a rapid response to bottom side Southampton taking a shock lead at Anfield, as the Reds extended their advantage over Arsenal to a huge 16 points and took another step closer to the Premier League title on day which saw Mohamed Salah make more history.

Two sides at opposite ends of the table meet at Anfield on Saturday, as sinking Southampton look to keep matters competitive against champions elect Liverpool.  The home side have not been beaten in the EPL since their only domestic league defeat this term to Nottingham Forest back in September,
