The Israeli prime minister is set to be the first foreign leader to visit the White House since Trump was sworn in.

As per the officials, the meeting between Israel PM and US President remains tentative and nothing is finalised as of now. The White House had no immediate comment on the plans.

In exchange, Israel freed 110 Palestinian prisoners. Their release was delayed because of chaos surrounding Thursday’s hostage handover in Gaza.

The bill was a Republican-led effort to sanction the International Criminal Court in protest of its arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
