The Bears announced they have completed their interview with Denver Broncos executive David Shaw for their head coach vacancy.
News that the Saints plan to sit down with David Shaw may have felt like it came out of left field, but he has a few unexpected connections worth noting:

The Bears are looking for a replacement for Matt Eberflus, who was dismissed after a disappointing 5-12 season, which marked the fourth straight season in which the Bears finished beneath .500. The incoming head coach will aim to bring the franchise back to respectability while also helping quarterback Caleb Williams as he develops.
The Broncos’ stadium future remains undecided and CEO Greg Penner said Wednesday that the team is considering all of its options.
