A day after he barely broke 80, Justin Thomas nearly broke 60. The 2021 champion at TPC Sawgrass has put his name next to another entry in the record books as he recorded a 10-under 62 in the second round of the 2025 Players Championship to tie the course record.

Justin Thomas came within one par of breaking the TPC Sawgrass course record on Friday at The Players Championship -- but a water ball on the final hole led to a bogey and the two-time major champion settled for a 10-under-par 62 and a share of the mark.

Staring down the barrel of an early exit, Thursday was about as bad as it could be for Justin Thomas at The Players Championship. Friday, by contrast, was just about the best in history.
