Most people remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for his speeches or his civil rights marches, but supporters of the holiday say King’s greatest legacy is his cultural impact.

Hundreds of families, activists and politicians marched through downtown Raleigh on Monday in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
