Method Man was fired up when defending his fallen Wu-Tang Clan brethren, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, in a recent Facebook post. As he explained, there was a meme going around asking people to choose who’d they get rid of—Method Man, Raekwon, Ol’ Dirty Bastard or Ghostface Killah.

Wu-Tang Clan, the transcendent hip-hop group from Staten Island, has announced its final tour. “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber” will be the rap collective’s last series of shows, and the event is coming to Garden State.
According to The New York Times, all eight surviving members of the Wu-Tang Clan will partake in the tour: RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God and Masta Killa. Additionally, longtime affiliate Cappadonna will tag along, as will Young Dirty Bastard, son of late Wu-Tang legend Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
A little context: Wu-Tang’s Wu-Tang Forever had lost Best Rap Album to Puff Daddy’s No Way Out earlier in the night, and the other nominees were The Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death, Wyclef Jean’s The Carnival, and Missy Elliott’s Supa Dupa Fly. The award was also not televised.
The legendary rap group — made up of RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and previously, the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard — will kick off their final tour this summer.
