One day after he was benched, Jazz Chisholm turned in a season-saving performance for the Yankees, making two critical plays with his glove and scoring the tiebreaking run in Wednesday's do-or-die Game 2 against the Red Sox.
Wednesday's Game 2 is on ESPN. Brayan Bello and Carlos Rodón are on the mound for Boston and New York, respectively.
Fernando Cruz rescued Carlos Rodon by pitching out of a major jam in the Red Sox seventh after second baseman Jazz Chisholm saved a run with a diving stop that resulted in an infield hit instead of a go-ahead single. After all that, the Yankees pulled out a 4-3 win to save the season.
"It's just a merry-go-round of all this talent and ability all through this lineup," ESPN analyst Doug Glanville said during the broadcast.
