FA chief executive Mark Bullingham says Thomas Tuchel has a long list of 55 players under consideration and praised the new England coach's "brilliant impact."

Thomas Tuchel has been urged to recall a former Manchester United and Arsenal striker when he names his first England squad. Tuchel’s first squad as England manager will be confirmed next week ahead of World Cup qualifying games against Albania and Latvia later in the month.

England manager Thomas Tuchel has spoken to more than 50 players as he prepares to name his first squad next week. Tuchel officially started his role in charge of the England men’s team at the beginning of January and has spent his first three months travelling to matches and building a rapport with those who will be considered for selection.
