President Joe Biden arrived Thursday in Peru to start his six-day visit to Latin America for the final major international summits of his presidency, even as world leaders turn their attention to what Donald Trump's return to the White House means for their countries.

President Joe Biden is taking maybe his final lap on the world stage this week with a trip to South America. Biden will kick off his trip to South America by traveling to Lima, Peru, for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.

Footage showed Air Force One touching down at an airbase in Peru, where Biden and his granddaughters disembarked. They were greeted by Peru's prime minister Gustavo Adrianzen and US Ambassador to Peru, Stephanie Syptak-Ramnath.
