CLEVELAND — Northeast Ohio got a real taste of winter over the Thanksgiving holiday. In the last 72 hours the lake effect snow has been varied. As usual it is a matter of the haves and the have-nots. Lake effect snow is notorious for vastly different accumulations from place to place - often within the same city.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for McLean County portions of eight states from late Friday through 6 a.m. Sunday. The weather service says the Bloomington-Normal area is likely to receive at least six inches of snow.

As of 6:30 a.m., the Fultondale Fire Department is reporting at least 15 trees down, three trees on structures and multiple road blocks. There are no injuries at this time.
