At Summer Games Fest, the newly announced Paramount Games Studio has revealed that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin–previously in the works at THQ Nordic’s Black Forest Games–is now in development at Platinum Games.
At the Summer Game Fest showcase on Friday, Paramount Games announced that PlatinumGames, known for its work on Bayonetta, Nier: Automata, and Ninja Gaiden 4, has taken over development of the game that was first announced more than three years ago.
Bayonetta dev PlatinumGames signed up to work on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin because the studio were "huge fans" of the IP, according to Dan Prigg, the head of the newly re-announced Paramount Games Studio. Platinum was announced as the developer of the game in the Summer Game Fest showcase today.
