Though Trump's White House rescinded an invitation to the championship Eagles in 2018, officials say no formal invitation for 2025 was issued.

President Trump said that he will invite the Eagles to visit the White House after winning the Super Bowl over the Chiefs.

Maybe the Eagles will be going to the White House after all. That's because on Monday, the NFL Network reported, citing team sources, that the Super Bowl champion Eagles "would be honored to visit The White House" after conversations Monday.

The Eagles faced backlash over an anonymously sourced report before the Super Bowl claiming a White House trip was a “massive no” for team leadership.

During his first term in office, Trump abruptly disinvited the Eagles on the eve of their planned trip in 2018.

Kelly reacted to a post from a user who cited a report which said the Eagles declined an invitation to the White House to meet President Donald Trump.

“The Philadelphia Eagles are unable to come to the White House with their full team to be celebrated tomorrow,” Trump said back then. “They disagree with their President because he insists they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country.

Reports that the Eagles have declined a White House invitation are unsubstantiated. Trump announced Tuesday that he planned to formally invite the team for a White House visit, and no members of the Eagles ownership, front office, management, nor any players have publicly said the team has declined or will decline an invitation.
