Arizona made it to Omaha all but one year from 1954-60 and won its three titles in the 1970s and 1980s across five CWS appearances. After missing it 17 consecutive times between 1987 and 2003, the Wildcats returned to the CWS in 2004, marking their first of five appearances this century. Four of those trips have come since 2012.

Coastal Carolina scored three runs in the eighth to break a tie and beat Arizona 7-4 at the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.

The Chanticleers enter the College World Series on a nation-best 23-game win streak. Coastal boasts the second-best team ERA in the country (3.21), and junior catcher Caden Bodine (.332 batting average, 75 hits) is MLB.com ’s No. 38 draft prospect.
