Gaudreau family leads Blue Jackets out of the tunnel for NHL Stadium Series game
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The family of Johnny Gaudreau will be leading the Columbus Blue Jackets out of the tunnel for Saturday's NHL Stadium Series game against the Detroit Red Wings. The announcement was made Friday afternoon, with just over 24 hours until the puck drops at the 'Shoe.
The Blue Jackets acquired Olivier on June 30, 2022, trading a fourth-round pick to the Nashville Predators. He spent most of the previous season playing for Nashville’s farm club, AHL Milwaukee.
The Detroit Red Wings host the Columbus Blue Jackets after Simon Edvinsson's two-goal game against the Minnesota Wild in the Red Wings' 3-2 win.
